Massage
Oncology Massage
This massage therapy is designed for people with cancer histories, those who are currently in cancer treatment, those who have had lymph nodes removed or radiated, and those in the final stages of living to provide comfort through everyday aches and pains.
Medical Massage
Medical massage incorporates many massage therapy techniques to address muscle and skeletal issues as diagnosed by a doctor. Our massage therapists work with patients to fit their individual needs.
Prenatal Massage
This therapeutic massage is specifically designed to focus on addressing the special needs of expecting women in order to enjoy your pregnancy. Prenatal massage includes the use of bolsters, pillows, and side-lying postures to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen. Our massage therapists are trained in how to position you and support your body, but we encourage clients to speak to their OBGYN first to decide if prenatal massage is right for you.
Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic massage is the manipulation of the soft tissue to bring about generalized improvements in health, such as relaxation or improved sleep, or specific physical benefits, such as relief of muscular aches and pains. Therapeutic massage utilizes many different techniques and modalities to customize the session to each individuals needs.
Enhancements
These enhancements are used in conjunction with your massage therapy and do not add additional time to your session. Enhancements do NOT add time to a massage session and are integrated into the massage.
Exfoliating Foot Massage and Scrub
Soothe and refresh tired feet by adding an exfoliating foot massage and scrub to your session. After wrapping the feet in warm towels, an exfoliating scrub is rubbed onto the base of the foot to rid it of excess skin and debris. Once the scrub is removed, whipped body butter is massaged onto the feet, leaving the feet feeling silky soft. $18
Hot Stone Aromatherapy
The therapeutic effects of heat through the use of smooth, hot stones are used as an extension of the therapist’s hands to relax your muscles on a deeper level. Aromatherapy is combined with the hot stone massage to enhance overall health and wellness. $30
Scalp Massage W/ Essential Oils
When the scalp feels “tight” from everyday stressors, circulation and hair growth can be impeded. A scalp massage can help increase blood circulation and aid in hair regrowth while essential oils aid in relaxation through aromatherapy. $12
Cupping Therapy
A cupping massage will consist of your therapist using specialized cups on your skin to create suction over the course of a few minutes. Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine within health and wellness. The benefits include helping to manage pain, reduce inflammation, increase blood flow, aid in relaxation, and act as an extension of deep tissue massage. $25
Exfoliating Back Scrub
After wrapping the back in warm towels, an exfoliating scrub is rubbed onto the skin to rid it of excess skin and debris. Once the scrub is removed, whipped body butter is massaged onto the back, leaving it feeling silky soft and refreshed. $18
Aches Away: Hot and Cold Therapy
An extension of a deep tissue massage, hot and cold therapy is used to focus on a specified area. Our unique blend of essential oils and hot stones will first create a warming sensation, which allows the muscles to “melt.” Then, a specially-designed cooling lotion is massaged into the same focus area to reduce inflammation and redness and aid in muscle recovery. $25
Lavender-Infused Face & Scalp Massage
Warm lavender-infused towels will begin the therapeutic massage process. A misting lavender eye mask covers the eyes, but is excluded if contacts are in. Warm stones are used to relax the muscles of the face along with lotion infused with essential oils. The scalp is then massaged with lavender essential oil. $30
